Blue Jays fall 6-5, drop series to Minnesota Twins

MINNEAPOLIS - The Blue Jays have been trying to hide Chris Colabello out in left field. It was inevitable that the ball would find him.

This is, after all, big league baseball and when a player is forced to play out of position as often as Colabello has been, a guy like Torii Hunter can sniff him out.

That’s what happened in the bottom of the seventh inning Sunday afternoon as the Blue Jays attempted to cling to a 5-4 lead over the Twins in the rubber match of a three-game series.

It had not been a very good inning for Jose Reyes but that’s an entirely different story.
