The remaining two unsigned picks are Canadian Dasan Brown who the Blue Jays drafted in the third round. According to rumblings around the industry, Brown is likely to forego his commitment to Texas A&M to sign an above-slot deal, however, nothing has been finalized.
The other unsigned selection is catcher Philip Clarke who was taken in the ninth round out of Vanderbilt University. Clarke is currently playing in the College World Series which has stalled talks with the Blue Jays. Clarke is expected to sign once his post-secondary season comes to an end, however, does have some leverage being a sophomore.
