Blue Jays: Curtis Granderson dealt to the Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers currently hold down the second wild-card position in the National League and significantly increased their chances for the postseason by adding not only Curtis Granderson but pitcher Gio Gonzales as well from the Washington Nationals earlier in the day.

The 37-year old has been long rumoured to be on the move and the Jays finally found a suitor for the veteran outfielder. The lefty-swinging Granderson is hitting .243/.340/.429 with 11 home runs in 103 games with the Blue Jays this season.

Granderson brings a wealth of experience and an impeccable reputation for being a great clubhouse presence.
