BALTIMORE - Thanks to Tuesday’s game being rained out and depending on what happens to the Yankees against Boston in the Bronx, the Blue Jays will face an interesting scenario Wednesday.
A doubleheader is scheduled for Wednesday with the first game set for 4:05 p.m. and if the Jays win that one and the Yankees lost Tuesday night they will clinch the American League East Division and then a half hour later go back on to the field and play the nightcap.
Not much time for a giddy, champagne and beer celebration under that scenario folks.
The likely scenario would be a muted celebration if they beat Baltimore and clinch the East followed by a full blown party at the conclusion of Game 2.
