The Toronto Blue Jays made a roster move earlier today, calling up veteran relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. from AAA while designating reliever Ty Tice for assignment in a corresponding move.
Signed to a minor league contract earlier this May, Edwards Jr. was brought in to the Blue Jays organization when quite a few pitchers on the active roster were hitting the injured list.
