Blue Jays can’t hold lead, lose again to Angels

TORONTO - All season long, the Blue Jays have been yearning for some solid work from their starting pitchers. The past two nights they’ve gotten a couple of rare gems and could not make either stand up.

Tuesday it was Aaron Sanchez who stepped up and Wednesday, Drew Hutchison followed in his footsteps. In each of those games, the light-hitting Angels rallied late to snatch the lead, and the game, away from the Blue Jays.

In this one, Los Angeles rallied for a pair of two-out runs in the seventh inning for a 4-3 victory, sending the Jays to their seventh loss in their past eight games as they fell to six games under .
