BOSTON - After a quick oil change and a lube job, veteran Mark Buehrle said he’s good to go.
Back from Toronto and a cortisone shot he received on Tuesday, the veteran Blue Jays left-hander said he’s all systems go for his next scheduled start which will be next Tuesday in Atlanta.
Making what should have been Buehrle’s start in New York on Saturday is Marcus Stroman, with what will be his highly anticipated first start of the season following left knee surgery in late March.
“I’m a little sore. No big deal I’ve had them before,” Buehrle said of the cortisone shot.
