Blue Jays break out for seven-run inning

Chris Colabello's two-out, RBI single drove A's starter Aaron Brooks from the game after he allowed eight earned runs on six hits over 1 2/3 innings before he was replaced in favour of reliever Felix Doubront, who didn't fare much better.

The former Blue Jays lefty allowed a single, a homer and double before registering the final out to end the second.

The offensive outburst gave the Blue Jays their 17th 10-plus run game of the season, the most they've registered since 2003, when they put up 19. It's the first time this year they've had 10 runs after two innings.
