A sinking fastball got away from Josh Thole in the bottom of the tenth with the bases loaded to give the Baltimore Orioles a 4-3 walk-off win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday night at Camden Yards
Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey stumbled out of the gate, allowing all three of his earned runs against in the first inning. He quickly buckled down, though, powering through six innings allowing a total of just five hits while striking out four.
Edwin Encarnacion gave Toronto two clutch RBI hits in this one, his first coming on a ground ball single that skipped over the glove on Manny Machado in the third inning to score Michael Saunders.
