Jose Bautista was back in the lineup on Tuesday after missing the previous two games due to taking a cortisone shot to his right shoulder, but more important was the fact he was throwing before the game.
Not only was Bautista the DH against the White Sox but before taking his cuts during BP he played catch with Ezequiel Carrera, making about 25 throws from 90 feet. He then trotted out to right field to shag balls and made another 10 to 15 tosses back to the screen situated behind second base.
Afterwards, he took his regular turn during BP before sitting down with the media to discuss his progress.
