Pearson Gets Rocked in Second AFL Outing:
Nate Pearson was unable to duplicate his successful AFL debut in his second outing on the bump. The big right-hander could not get out of the second inning surrendering seven earned runs scattered around five hits. Pearson walked four and was also victimized for a round-tripper by Bobby Dalbec. The Surprise would eventually lose the contest 18-2.
