Blue Jays acquire Scott Feldman from Houston Astros

The Toronto Blue Jays have reportedly acquired right-handed pitcher Scott Feldman from the Houston Astros.

Much like Melvin Upton Jr. and the San Diego Padres, Feldman will only need to cross the diamond tonight as the Blue Jays are in Houston for game one of their four-game series.

Astros have traded RHP Scott Feldman to Blue Jays.

Jeff Passan reports that the Blue Jays have sent pitching prospect Guadalupe Chavez the other way in the deal. Chavez is ranked by MLB Pipeline as the organization’s number 20 prospect, and the 18-year-old had been pitching with the Bluefield Blue Jays.
