TORONTO -- The Blue Jays bolstered their catching depth on Friday, acquiring Dioner Navarro from the White Sox in exchange for Minor League left-hander Colton Turner.
Navarro spent 2014-15 in Toronto before signing a one-year deal with the White Sox in the offseason. The 32-year-old has hit .210 with six home runs and 32 RBIs this season and provides the Blue Jays a switch-hitting presence to back up starter Russell Martin.
