Blue Jays RHP Aaron Sanchez said that he will begin throwing on Sunday or Monday and is confident that this time, when he comes back, he’ll be back for good.
The 2016 American League ERA leader has landed on the DL three times this season because of blister and nail problems on his right middle finger, but now he is confident the problem has been fixed.
“I think the first couple of days you want to throw 100 feet, 120 feet, kind of test it out,” said Sanchez. “But I’ve done what I’ve needed to do to stay in shape and so (we’ll see) how well I respond to the throwing.
