BALTIMORE - Blue Jays manager John Gibbons is well aware of the importance Roberto Osuna has to a ball club with designs on earning a third consecutive playoff appearance.
But in Gibbons’ opinion, missing a handful of days in April is a small price to pay for a player so crucial to the team’s potential success.
“Without him, we’re in a lot of trouble,” Gibbons acknowledged Monday prior to the Blue Jays’ season opener against the Orioles. “Every game is valuable. If we get rid of this in the next 10 days, maybe it is behind us.
