TORONTO (AP) -- The Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles, AL East rivals who have feuded several times in recent seasons, wasted no time in renewing hostilities Friday night
Toronto outfielder Jose Bautista was hit by a pitch in the first inning and Blue Jays manager John Gibbons was ejected for arguing after both benches were warned.
Orioles right-hander Mike Wright brushed Bautista with an 0-1 pitch, prompting warnings from home plate umpire CB Bucknor. Gibbons came out and was ejected for the second time before engaging in a lengthy discussion with crew chief Dale Scott.
