TORONTO - Any talk of the afternoon in Baltimore still makes Alex Anthopoulos blush.
He had it planned out, as he does most things. How he would sit in the stands at Camden Yards, surrounded by his closest baseball associates, the same group he gathered with in Arizona 11 months earlier to plot out the Blue Jays season.
They would sit in the stands and watch their team clinch their first division title in 22 years. They would do it together, without notice, because who goes to Baltimore mid-week for a day-night doubleheader?
And then the chants began.
