According to Disis, police found a "loaded 9mm handgun and a loaded Colt AR-15 assault rifle in the car."
Tipton reportedly received threatening text messages from his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend and went to a party at her house to check on her safety, firing the assault rifle into the air from the driveway.
