Quarterback Zach Wilson will have a new number to accompany his fresh start with the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos finalized the jersey numbers for their offseason additions Thursday, with No. 10 going to Wilson.
The 2021 first-round pick wore No. 2 with the New York Jets. Picking a different number in Denver was necessitated by the fact two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Pat Surtain II currently occupies that jersey.
Wilson couldn't even claim one of his numbers (1 and 11) from college at BYU because cornerback Tremon Smith and quarterback Ben DiNucci beat him to the punch already.
