CONCORD, N.C. — Joey Logano made a spectacular move to win last week's Sprint All-Star Race, but all anyone wanted to talk about afterward was the wacky rules that created mass confusion and marred the special event.
To Logano, that was not the story. And it was not what he wanted to talk about as he prepared for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600.
"Everyone wants to talk about the format, I want to talk about what was amazing that night, which was the ability to race," Logano said. "We were able to move up the racetrack and get to the outside of cars and to the bottom and race each other and pass each other.
