The Yankees had to overcome the traumatization of a backed-up toilet before defeating the A’s 5-1 on Saturday. Because we all know how traumatizing a backed-up toilet can be.
Multiple reports said that workers at Oakland Coliseum were busy Saturday fixing plumbing issues that arose Friday night in the bathroom of the visitors’ dugout. The leak ran into the dugout itself, a less-than-desirable scene captured by MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch.

The situation interrupted the Yankees’ pre-game routine, but manager Joe Girardi said his team was none the worse for it.
