TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Yankees left-hander Max Fried has not allowed a hit through six innings against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, and New York leads 3-0.
Fried, a 31-year-old left-hander in his first season with the Yankees, walked two and faced two batters over the minimum. Three Rays have reached base on errors in a game at Steinbrenner Field, the Yankees' spring training home.
