Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman tests positive for coronavirus, out for 'foreseeable future'

Another All-Star has tested positive for COVID-19.

On Saturday, New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone revealed that closer Aroldis Chapman has tested positive. As a result, Chapman will not be around the team “for the foreseeable future.”

Boone said Chapman has “mild symptoms” and added “he will not be here for the foreseeable future” #yankees

Chapman joins a growing list of stars to test positive. Some of the bigger names include Freddie Freeman, Salvador Perez, Miguel Sanó and Joey Gallo.
