Xfinity begins its second season as the sponsor of NASCAR’s No. 2 national series and the company is making big moves to distinguish itself as a brand name in America’s most popular form of motorsports.
Comcast’s Xfinity Series replaced Nationwide as a series sponsor last year and spent its first season introducing its brand and services to NASCAR fans. Now, in year two, the company is making big changes. The Xfinity Series, which opens its season Saturday with the PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway, will feature its first-ever Xfinity Series Chase to determine the series champion as well a new Dash4Cash format that will pay drivers bonuses for their performance in select races.
