David Ragan starts from pole position for Friday night's Xfinity Series race, in a car usually reserved for Matt Tifft.
But Tifft isn't available to drive. He had brain surgery, as doctors removed a small tumor. Tifft drives the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 car in Xfinity races, often replaced by Kyle Busch.

Fittingly, replacement driver Ragan kept Tifft's name on the car. Ragan also carried with his the best wishes of other NASCAR drivers who would like to see Tifft back on the track but his car on this critical night in victory lane.
