For the second Saturday in a row, NASCAR watched Joey Logano and Kyle Larson battle for the win at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but a late caution in the Xfinity Series Hisense 4K TV 300 spoiled revenge for Larson.

Erik Jones brought out the caution flag with just two laps remaining as Larson was likely headed for the win to make amends for his All-Star race loss, but instead, the Xfinity race outcome would be decided on pit road. Leaders Larson and Logano decided to stay on the track on old tires while the rest of the field pitted for fresh Goodyears and additional grip for NASCAR's version of overtime.
