At least WWE's Money in the Bank 2016 had a newsworthy ending.
Dean Ambrose cashed in his newly won briefcase to claim his first WWE World title, ending a show that was an easy thumbs up but still somehow disappointing after the buildup as "The greatest Money in the Bank ever". The length was a big issue as WWE intentionally stretched it out to nearly 3.5 hours to avoid direct competition from the NBA Finals That led to a lot of filler matches.
You kids who sit through three-hour shows every Monday night might think that kind of thing is normal, but not us grumpy old people.
