WWE 2017 predictions: John Cena, Roman Reigns will have huge years

To say 2016 was an interesting year in wrestling would be an understatement.

AJ Styles not only joined WWE, but took it by storm, becoming one of its top stars and now the reigning SmackDown world champion. Daniel Bryan was forced to retire due to injury and gave a heartfelt and gut-wrenching goodbye speech. "Raw" and "SmackDown" split into separate brands, Goldberg returned, as did the cruiserweight division, while Chris Jericho reinvented himself again.

Entering 2017, here are some predictions of what to expect in what should another fascinating year.

'SmackDown' overtakes 'Raw' as WWE must-see show

While most people gave the nod to "Raw" for having the stronger roster following July’s brand extension, the blue brand has put on the more entertaining shows and better utilized its talent.
