World Series 2017: Astros Bash Their Way to Game 3 Victory

The Houston Astros rode an early offensive surge to a hard-fought 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the 2017 World Series. They walked away with a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, with two more games to come at home, where they haven’t lost a game in this postseason.

Los Angeles had chances until the bitter end, but they were sunk by a disastrous start by the team’s No. 3 starter, Yu Darvish, who allowed four runs in just one and two-thirds innings. It was the shortest outing of Darvish’s career, and the Dodgers were never able to recover.
