World Series 2016: Wrigleyville erupts after 108 years of waiting for Cubs championship

CHICAGO — Wrigleyville provided a pure adrenaline rush Wednesday night after the Cubs beat the Indians 8-7 in 10 innings in Game 7 of the World Series, ending the franchise's 108-year championship drought.

A few lucky spectators made it into one of the many bars lining the neighborhood's streets, sheltering them from the heavy rain that fell at the beginning of the game. The rest were huddled together outside watching the game through windows and celebrating in the streets.
