Indians manager Terry Francona has had an interesting late-night journey with snacks during the World Series. Over the weekend he ordered $44 worth of ice cream from room service, and he had another episode Tuesday night before Game 7.
Francona said in a news conference Wednesday he had a nightmare that somebody broke his ribs, only to realize he had fallen asleep on his TV remote, which had pushed deep into his side. He awoke to another treat.
"It’s not easy being a manager," he said. "My bedroom looked like a national disaster last night. I’m going to have to change a few habits when we’re done here.
