Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon is one of the most laid-back coaches in all of baseball. Even before Friday's Game 3 of the World Series he was cracking jokes with reporters.
When asked about who has been the biggest influence on his management style, Maddon responded with the greatest regional manager in the history of TV.
"Michael Scott, probably the biggest influence," Maddon said. "That's 'The Office' for those that don't watch TV."
You can now attribute Maddon's name under Scott's and Wayne Gretzky's for the famous quote, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.
