Women's College World Series: Oklahoma sweeps Florida for second consecutive title

Oklahoma defeated Florida on Tuesday night to complete a best of three sweep for its second straight Women's College World Series title, and its third in five years. The win came just one night after an absurd 17 inning game that was eventually won when Shay Knighten homered in the top half of the inning, giving the Sooners a 7-4 lead in the game and a 1-0 lead in the series.

Knighten continued her dominance at the plate, notching a three-run double in the second inning. Oklahoma would go on to win the game 5-4, and Knighten was named the most outstanding player of the series.
