William Byron is part of an embarrassment of riches for Joe Gibbs Racing. A team that threatens to rule NASCAR now could reign for years.
Byron, all of 18 years old, won his fifth Truck Series race of the year on Saturday at Pocono. And he is one of four developmental drivers in national series who could soon be making his mark in Sprint Cup under the Gibbs banner.
Few question the talent of those four, who include Truck driver Christopher Bell and Xfinity stars Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez.
But there's a catch: How will Gibbs get these newcomers into his Cup roster?
