Wisconsin is one of three programs with an official visit scheduled with Missouri State transfer tight end Lance Mason, according to 247Sports' Chris Hummer. The Badgers are listed along with Cal and Oklahoma.
Wisconsin is looking to bolster its tight end position after projected starter and top winter transfer addition Tanner Koziol left for Houston. The program returns juniors Tucker Ashcraft and J.T. Seagreaves at the position, although the two have combined for just 25 receptions, 215 yards and two touchdowns over five combined collegiate seasons.
Mason is in the portal after three years at Missouri State (Football Championship Subdivision).
