Winners & Losers: Martin Truex Jr. suddenly the driver to beat in Chase

When prognosticators were making their picks for this year's Chase for the Sprint Cup, many believed a Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota driver would take home the prize for the second year in a row.

But not many were thinking that team and car would belong to Martin Truex Jr.

Truex, whose Furniture Row team has a technical alliance with JGR, is looking like the driver to beat after the first round of the Chase. Truex led 187 laps at Dover, including the final 27, for his second win in three weeks and third in the past five races.
