Sure, Penn State got a convincing road win over Auburn and Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin did what they were supposed to do against overmatched opponents. But the teams below them in the conference pecking order didn’t cover themselves in glory.
We’ll start in Lincoln, where Nebraska gave up 49 points to Oklahoma in its first game after Scott Frost’s firing. Interim coach Mickey Joseph’s tenure started perfectly; Oklahoma went three-and-out to start the game and Nebraska immediately responded with a touchdown.
