Serena Williams will attempt to tie Steffi Graf's Open-era record with her 22nd Grand Slam title in Saturday's Wimbledon final against Angelique Kerber.
Top-seeded Williams made short work of Elena Vesnina in the semifinal on Thursday, winning 6-2, 6-0 in just 49 minutes.
No. 4 Kerber received a tougher challenge in the semis from Serena's sister Venus, but prevailed 6-4, 6-4 to reach her second career Grand Slam final. The 28-year-old German has yet to drop a set in the tournament.
