Up-and-comer Daniil Medvedev's triumph over World No. 5 Stan Wawrinka certainly didn't last long. The 21-year-old Russian exited Wimbledon in the second round Wednesday, but not without taking shots at the umpire. Down 5-2 in the last set against Ruben Bemelmans, Medvedev asked that the umpire be replaced for bias. When his request was (naturally) denied and he lost 6-3, Medvedev took it out on the umpire herself, taking single coins out of his wallet and tossing them at her.
It was a bizarre moment, but not a unique one. According to Deadspin, Mevedev has accused umpires of bias before.
