A noted gaming enthusiast, Brooklyn Nets point guard Jeremy Lin has decided to create his own eSports team. In partnership with the China Digital Group and Vici Gaming, a Chinese eSports organization, Lin will endorse a Dota 2 team called Team VGJ.
“China Digital Group considers eSports as one of major business of growth in recent years. We’ll integrate our celebrity resources and eSports teams to create market value,” said Chris Hsu, CEO of the CDC, to ESPN.
