That’s because there’s only one week until the NBA Draft Lottery, the night where the fate of franchises rests on the flight of 14 ping-pong balls inside a lottery machine. In past years the top pick has been included decisions between two players, like Wiggins or Parker, Oden or Durant, and Howard or Okafor. Sometimes both players stick in the league, other times one or both flame out.
This year that discussion centers around Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, two college freshman that play forward but have drastically different styles.
