We are almost one month away from the 2025 NFL draft. The Washington Commanders hold the No. 29 overall pick in the next month's draft but only have five selections across the three-day event.
Washington general manager Adam Peters is a draft-and-develop guy. Due to the poor roster he inherited from the previous regime, Peters had to rely more on free agency than he would've liked. Since the 2024 NFL trade deadline, Peters has parted with more draft picks in 2025 and 2026, using them to land cornerback Marshon Lattimore, left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
