Few college assistants have been in closer proximity to top talent in recent years than James Kane. First he recruited Ja Morant to Murray State, then spent a year at Dayton when Obi Toppin was redshirting. Since then, Kane has spent the last two seasons at Iowa State during Tyrese Haliburton’s ascendance.
