U.S. men’s national team midfielder Weston McKennie is heading to England for a medical exam ahead of a move to Leeds United, according to Sky Sports.
The news comes after reports indicated Saturday that Leeds United have agreed to a loan for the 24-year-old. According to The Athletic, Leeds United has agreed to the loan move with an option to buy in the summer with transfer insider Fabrizio Romano saying potential fees could rise to $40 million.
On Sunday, McKennie was spotted at Turin airport as he takes one more step toward completing his move to the Premier League.
