West Virginia Mountaineers: Commitment 101: Emory Snyder

The West Virginia Mountaineers football program has continued its recent run on the recruiting trail with a commitment from Bixby (Okla.) 2026 defensive back Emory Snyder.

Snyder, 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, picked the Mountaineers over a list of scholarship offers including Washington State, San Diego State, North Texas, Arkansas State, Colorado State, New Mexico and more.

The Rivals.com three-star prospect received a scholarship offer Feb. 13 and things only continued to develop with nickels/sams coach Henry Weinreich serving as the lead recruiter.

That led to a visit to Morgantown March 10 where he was able to get an up-close look at the Mountaineers and how he could fit into the football program.
