The environment Caleb Williams walked into this season with the Chicago Bears was frequently lauded this offseason. Some even said it was the best situation we’ve ever seen for a quarterback taken No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft.
I certainly felt that way about the top three wide receivers, but there are questions elsewhere. Through two games, the answers to those questions look anything but pretty.
Chicago looked like one of the most dysfunctional offenses in the league on Sunday night.
Let’s start with Williams himself. He looks like an overwhelmed rookie quarterback.
