Watch: Woman scolds fellow Seahawks fan for harassing female Bills coach

One Seahawks fan stood up for Bills quality control coach Kathryn Smith during Monday night’s game, chiding a fan next to her for yelling at Smith and calling her a “waitress.”

Smith walked out of the tunnel as the man began to yell at her, before he was immediately scolded by an exasperated woman to his right. It’s unclear if the two knew each other, but a powerful moment nonetheless.

Smith was hired in January by the Bills, becoming the NFL’s first full-time female coach. She worked for the New York Jets for 12 seasons prior, six of them under Rex Ryan as an administrative assistant.
