Michigan State basketball went to Cleveland and won the weekend, defeating Bryant on Friday night before a gritty victory over New Mexico on Sunday night, 71-63, punching their ticket to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament.
The win came on the heels of a patented Michigan State game, with the team getting themselves into a dog fight, and having a sluggish first half before a monstrous second half performance.
With the massive victory, and punching their ticket into the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, the Spartans were rightfully very happy and full of celebration as they headed into the locker room following the game.
