Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has reignited a long-running feud with Chris Wilder by leading a foul-mouthed chant at the Sheffield United manager during wild Championship promotion celebrations.
Bamford was among the Leeds players who celebrated with supporters following their promotion to the Premier League being confirmed on Monday. Sheffield United are consigned to the play-offs after a dreadful run of results in April.
Players headed to Elland Road to continue the celebrations and Bamford led a chant in front of fans. The 31-year-old sang “Du, du, du….” at supporters, who responded “Wilder is a w-----”.
