The Sharks got a nice pre-game jolt from Metallica, whose members have been longtime superfans of the team.
Drummer Lars Ulrich and bass guitarist Robert Trujillo opened the doors for the Sharks to take the ice before Game 4 in San Jose, while James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett rocked out the national anthem in a guitar duet.

The band and the team have a long history. The players skate out of a giant shark head to Metallica's "Seek and Destroy," and had "Metallica Night" last season where the band members received custom jerseys.
